Farmland mastery in Boyolali, Indonesia

Abstract This research aimed to find out the farmland mastery system in Boyolali Regency. employed descriptive qualitative method; data was collected using interview and observation techniques. Informants derived from farmers, head of farmer group, community leaders. Data validation carried source triangulation. The result showed that 11 15 villages Andong Sub District, is largely mastered by owners, land-owning farmers worked on their land themselves as they made primary job. Meanwhile, other 4 majority people are farm workers working area or adjacent village due less fertile (limited water source).
